Action Plan of District Branding

Work Plan:

Several work plans such as short, mid and long term plans have been taken to implement district branding initiatives.To select the branding logo several meetings have been held.After the discussion with the people of all walks of life branding logo and tagline  have been selected.Barisal is surrounded by many rivers. Special plan has been taken with the rivers to increase tourism in Barisal and to create some facilities for tourist.

  • Establishing of standard hotel/motel.
  • To ensure security system at tourist spots by government and local management.
  • To open ticket counters with modern facilities at the entrance of local tourist spots.
  • To send proposal to develop the infrustructure from Bhurghata to Ujirpur.
  • Taking initiative to establish modern washroom at tourist spots.
  • To build an eye-catching Barisal gate at the entrance of to Barisal.

To implement all these work plans relevant committee and sub-committee will be formed. Different committee will implement their part of work through changes and revision of work plan.
